When did it all begin?
Stylish Gatherings was created in 2015, when I was struggling to think of a new idea for my daughters birthday party. We had already had soft play parties, discos and swimming events and felt like I wanted something completely different. I had seen bell tent hire advertised in the southern counties but nothing in my local area of the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire.
This was when I purchased my first 5m bell tent and my love of creating children's parties and sleepovers was born. My first event was aptly for my daughters birthday in 2015 in which she had a hot tub and pamper party, using the tent for the treatments such as glitter tattoos, nail painting and spa treatments.
Because the parties are in the garden this reduces the mess indoors and all the tents are 100% waterproof so no need to worry about our unpredictable British weather.
After the success of the children’s parties I introduced the tents to be used for children at weddings. They are perfect as an additional space for children for the whole day as they are filled with crafts, outdoor large games and dressing up clothes. This is their space to use as they wish.
My tents have been to many of the most stylish, beautiful venues in the area including; Grinkle Park, Solberge Hall, Crathorne Hall, Middleton Lodge and Whinestone View to name but a few.
I love creating events and styling the tents to suit all tastes and themes, perfect for any event at any time of year.
